Welcome to the Fairfield County Municipal Court website.
The website was upgraded November, 2005.
The purpose of this website is to provide access to and information
regarding the records held by the Clerk of Court, as well as provide
information regarding operations of both the Court and the Clerk’s
Office. As the legal custodian of the records, I am pleased to
offer this convenience to the public. Your comments and suggestions
are appreciated.
The General Assembly of the State of
Ohio created the Lancaster Municipal Court effective in January,
1953, for the territorial jurisdiction of Fairfield County.
Effective January, 2000, the State Legislature changed the name of
the court to the Fairfield County Municipal Court, to better reflect
the citizens served.
